VIN# - 7N55C136718

7=1978,

N= Norfolk, Va Ford Plant,

55= Galaxie 500 2 Door Hardtop Type 63B,

C= V8, 289 CID 2V Challenger 200hp 4400 rpm 282 ft-lbs@2400 RPM 9.3:1 compression ration,  136718= Consecutive Unit #(CUN) 36718 car built in 1967 at the Ford Plant in Norfolk VA

In doing some research, I found that the VIN# under the hood/firewall was correct as far as the existing car was configured.  The Warranty # on the driver's door is incorrect and  so far it seems that the door was replaced.  Effort now to correctly identify the body, color, trim, date, DSO, Axle and Transmission information from the car.
