Glide

Update 11 Nov 2008

A P35, "GLIDE" checks in from Fiji

This fall I sailed Glide from Tonga to Fiji. Then Glide spent 35 months in the Kingdom of Tonga during which my family members made five cruises in Tongan waters. While there I added a Hydrovane self steered, KISS wind generator, Lavac marine toilet, and FridgeFreeze refrigerator, all of which have worked perfectly. In August we sailed the 500 miles to Fiji and spent two months cruising there including a circumnavigation of Vanua Levu. I love your website. Please keep it up. Take care.................                  Dan Paull

An Update from Glide in Polynesia

I just finished sailing the Glide from French Polynesia to American Samoa,

about 1200 miles. The boat performed very well with the Hydrovane self steering unit I installed.

In Suwarrow in the Cook Islands. The picture under sail was as we
approached Pago Pago. The woman in the picture is my wife, Brenda.
Thanks very much.

At the moment, the Glide is in Polynesia.  I am attaching a picture of
the boat in Rangiroa which I hope you can add to the site.

Thanks Daniel, you know pictures like this will just kill

the P35 owners up in the Northern states!  So you guys are in

Polynesia.  How about some cruising stories from you two.

So who said a 1969, P35 was not a Blue Water Boat?
