Serenade

(Update 23 Nov 2008)

A 40 Year Old Pearson 35 crosses the Atlantic

Update on Serenade is that it is no longer in Tranidad but in South France.  Yes it sailed there.  New owner is Joel LE MOAN

Yes Serenade is the one who was for sell in Trinidad & Tobago. The previous owner bring her to Martinique where I bought her in February 2007.  From April 2007, I'm living aboard and start to fix some problem before crossing Atlantic ocean alone. I have had so much problem that I left St Marteen the 12th of July and arrive to Horta (Azore) on 7th of August.  Then I stayed about a month in Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel - Azore). I left on 12th of September for Marseille, via Gibraltar. I arrive to Marseille the 30th of September.  In Marseille (France), Serenade has been out for some repairs and in March 2008, I bring her to Villefranche s/mer, where I am by now

As you can see on pictures, there is a lot of work to do on Serenade. It will take me a lot of time because I have no money anymore (I'm looking for job but in France is economic crisis too). Next year, I think I will move to Atlantic side of France or go back to Guadeloupe, I don't know yet.  The best will be to find a workshop around here but it's impossible. No place or to expensive.  For the moment, I try to ameliorate a bit  Serenade for more comfort for myself and the boat.

My story was so complicated that I wrote a book, but is in French, sorry.
