26 Sept 04/2:30pm Indialantic, FL 10 hrs AFTER THE HURRICANE 10 hrs BEFORE THE HURRICANE Needless to say, the beach took a heck of a beating.
Mikhaya rode out the surge quite well... except for the wind generator tower BEFORE AFTER The dock was under water but still holding. All that was lost was the wind generator off the stern. Still looking for that! (Never found it) Interesting to see the water level rise on the ICW. My long lines were necessary. Anymore water rise and they would have snapped.
Some Boats that didn't fair too well... Fish left on the dock |

Some thoughts from Joe on Hurricane Charley-- Our house had minimal damage from Charley. None on the interior. The eye went right over us at 145MPH. Had 8 lines on WINDSTAR in the canal, but a trawler broke loose and broke 5 of the lines. two other lines tore away chunks of the dock and the last one ripped a chain link fence post out of the concrete seawall.

William Hunnicutt down in Marathon Florida sent along some pictures of Polaris all ready for the big wind. Don't everybody just wish they had a nice dock like this to tie up to in a Hurricane? |

Teresa Ann is a wonderful looking 1980 model. Nice dock lines for the big Hurricane (s) in Key Largo, FL. |
